Life Skills

Our Year 8 students have been actively participating in life skills sessions at the local shop, where they’ve been learning essential skills like buying items, handling money, and using self-service checkouts. These practical experiences have been invaluable in teaching them financial literacy and independence. The students have shown great enthusiasm and responsibility, applying their new skills in real-world situations. It’s been wonderful to see them grow in confidence and competence, making everyday tasks easier and more manageable. This hands-on approach to learning has been both educational and empowering, preparing them for future responsibilities.
